Ryu is mocha-skinned, has silver eyes, and straight black hair that she usually puts into a braid. Her fingernails are long, but not painted. Ryu always likes it when they look clean. She usually doesn't wear lip coloring, but does wear eye liner. Her outfit ususally consists of a red silk blouse, dark red pants, and her favorite black slippers with gold patterns.

Personality:

Ryu is laid back, but strict when teaching someone firebending. Her favorite thing to do is practice yoga by a koi pond near her house. She can be verry humourous at times. Ryu has also received many marriage proposals, but has turned each of them down. She feels that if she marries, her freedom will be lost forever.

History:

Rui never knew her parents, and instead was raised by an old man name Ju-Fa. Unfortunately, Ju-Fa died of old age when she was eleven, so she has been living by herself for seven years. She kept the house that the old man had lived in. When she was twelve, she had been fighting with some other kids and accidentally used her firebending on them. Practicing to control her powers, she studied the art of firebending until she was a master.
