Ezira Flarek was wandering the streets of the Fire Nation Capitol rather pointlessly. She had been into many stores, and even bought herself another red outfit, although she hardly needed it. Her closet was more than over-flowing with red, gold, and black. It was almost as if she supported her nation too much. But that was pretty much impossible. The Fire Nation deserved every ounce of loyalty she gave it and more.
Ezira looked at her reflection in a fountain to make sure her hair was alright. It was. She usually wore in up in a ponytail, and today was no exception. Her bangs hung just over her eyes and were longer at the sides. Like usual. This day was quite average.
Deciding that she was, indeed, tired, Ezira sat on the edge of the fountain. It was in the middle of a busy square, and it was cooler than most days. Considering it was winter, that made sense. Not that winter in the Fire Nation was a big deal. It never snowed. Not that anyone wanted it to. Firebenders would probably burn all of it. Ezira included. She didn't know how the Water Tribes could stand it.
Ezira had always been fascinated by the Water Tribes. The Air Nomads and Earth Kingdom too. She was so used to the Fire Nations way of running things, and she wondered how the other nations of the world would be run differently. She hoped that if she ever worked for the Fire Lord, she could travel to every place on the globe. Maybe as a diplomat or something. Not that being a diplomat was a high position. Her firebending skills could be of more use elsewhere anyways.
Less and less people were coming to the square now. With a shock, Ezira realized that it was becoming less busy because of the late hour. She would have to get home soon!
Ezira started to get up, but managed to knock into someone and fall backwards, right into the fountain.

Opal Pantel:
Opal pulled on her boots and stood and walked over to her mirrior. She straightened her red shirt. It was a v-neck. Her necklace with the Fire Nation symbol hung to the middle of her chest. She smiled to hershelf, and threw her hair upinto a low ponytail as she walked out the door.
The city wasn't as busy was it usually was, but it was busy nonetheless. Only a few gold fire nation pieces in my pocket. THe stores looked univiting today for some strange reason. I didn't feel like going in and shopping. It was boring to do alone.
I wandered over to the outain in the center of the city and sat down. People with bags where walking across the square and children where bending fire at the park across the way. They weren't seriously doing as they seemedto be about five, so they couldn't really make much. The park suddenly seemed inviting so I got up and started walking toward the square. I crossed to the otherside of the fountain I had to cross to get to the park.
Suddenly, someone stood up at the exact same time I took a step forward. There was a squeal and they toppled backwards into the fountain."Oh dear!" I whispered and rushed forward to help.
I helped a girl out of the fountain, and she looked up at me. I tried to smile at her. "Erm, sorry about that. I didn't see you. Need some help with that?"

"Oh dear!Erm, sorry about that. I didn't see you. Need some help with that?" Once Ezira got over the shock of being cold and wet (two very unpleasant feelings, she thought), she let the girl who had pushed her help her out. Ezira's hair and clothes were dripping all over everything. Everyone was staring at her. She immediately felt uncomfortable. She hated when people watched her. Ezira was a noble, but she didn't want people staring at her because she was causing a scene, she wanted them to look at her in awe. Right now everyone was looking at her with pity.
Trying to ignore her feeling of displeasure, Ezira looked at the girl who she had knocked into. No, the girl who helped me out, she reminded herself. Ezira had been brought up to be polite, and she wouldn't ever ignore her upbringing. It was one of the few things that she treasured.
The girl had the standard straight black hair, and wore normal Fire Nation Clothes. She wouldn't have been anything special if it weren't for her eyes. They were a stormy gray color similar to an Airbender's. Fascinating.
Ezira smiled politely. "It's my fault. I should've watched where I was going. Thank you for helping me." The girl seemed wealthy enough that Ezira wouldn't get in trouble for talking to her. Sometimes he parents were a little too uptight and got upset when she associated herself with peasants.
The fact that she was still dripping wet hadn't escaped her. She really just wanted to dry herself off. She breathed deeply and discreetly conjured up and tiny fire to warm herself up.
